New Year's Resolutions

A new year, a new start. Man, I have got so many things I want to do next year!

Art-wise:

• Get into semi-realism
  I really like semi-realistic art and I would love to try my hand at it. I might do more lineless stuff as well
  
  
• Draw more clothes
  Especially skirts and frills. I want to design some great outfits, both for my OCs and for fanart. I'm just learning how to shade clothing and it's exciting to imagine how far I might come
  
  
• Draw more accessories
  I love jewels! I love shiny things! Also, in my book, accessories include weapons. I want to draw Yukimi's Rain Flash, as well as Adri's collection of staffs. I want to draw swords and daggers and guns. I am really into weapons and I really like arming characters
  
  
• Do more half-body and full body pics, and more poses
  I do such generic drawings. I want to attempt some new angles and practice anatomy. It would be great if I could do more couple-ish stuff, particularly kisses and maybe some nsfw things
  
  
• Do more original stuff
  I really need to do proper ref sheets for my OCs and do designs for some of the OCs in my head. I also want to draw them more in different settings. I have a bunch of ideas for their wardrobes and their relationship with each other. This includes my cute adopts as well. I'm thinking of creating a closed species too
  
  
• Do more Fanpro stuff (more info here)
  I picked out some designs I liked and I've been weaving a Fanpro world for these characters. I'd love to draw some of my daydreams
  
  
• Draw more for fun
  I've been struggling a lot with self-esteem and I've found that I tend to make things more for other people's approval than for my own enjoyment. I want break this habit and create art because it makes me happy and not for praise. It's tough because I have not been in the best place emotionally but I want to try to love myself a little more
  
  

Writing-wise

• Get back into fanfiction
  Fanfiction was what helped me during my formative years as a writer. I have so many unfinished projects and some new stories I want to write.
  
  
• Finish Crimson
  Adri and Seri are part of a book I'm writing titled Crimson. I'm quite hyped to write about them but I am terrible at finishing stories. I will try my best to give them the ending they deserve!
  
  
• Write more OC stuff
  Yukimi, in particular. She was from an old story of mine and while it was cringe-worthy, I loved the magic system. I'm thinking of doing a collection of oneshots about my OCs where they exist in a sort of metaspace together. They remember that they come from different stories and worlds but they like to come to the metaspace to relax from time to time. It's probably going to be very Slice of Life
  
  
• Write more Fanpro stuff
  I'm still constructing my Fanpro world and writing has always been a great way to explore ideas. I might do a crossover between my OCs and the Fanpro characters
  
  
• Get back into RP
  I was really into RP-ing a couple months back, but the fire sort of died. I have a pile of threads waiting and unused icons and I think I want to get back in.
  
  

School-wise

• I just want to get out of there as soon as possible. It is extremely exhausting and I hate it
  
  
• Maybe get on the Dean's list this sem
